OpenVPN:
For Windows 8: https://wiki.btguard.com/index.php/OpenVPN_Startup
For Windows 7:
Please follow these instructions to start OpenVPN and connect automatically when your computer starts up.
Locate the OpenVPN GUI shortcut, right-click and hit Properties.
– Add this line in the target: –connect “BTGuard (Fastest).ovpn” so it looks like this:
Target: “C:Program FilesOpenVPNbinopenvpn-gui.exe” – connect to “BTGuard (fastest).ovpn”
Note that you need to replace “BTGuard (Fastest) .ovpn” with one of the file names in “C:Program FilesOpenVPNconfig” if you have made some changes in the configuration files or are using a CA, EU, or SG configuration files.
If you do not have administrator privileges yourself, you will also need to click on Advanced and enable the shortcut to run with administrator privileges. (Required for WINDOWS VISTA/7/8).
Close the VPN if it is running and double-click on the new shortcut to see if it is working properly.
The VPN should now connect automatically.
Move the shortcut to the startup folder:
Right-click on the Start button and choose Explore, go to Start Menu -> Programs -> Startup.
