After installing and activating the C7100V modem router, you can put the C7100V into bridge mode and connect it to the router.
If you want to connect the C7100V to a router and set it up in jumper mode or bridge mode, you must disable NAT. With NAT disabled, the modem router acts as a bridge and the router behind it gets the WAN IP address from your ISP at which point all routing will be handled by your router.
To put the C7100V modem router in jumper mode or bridge mode:
1. Launch a web browser from a computer or mobile device connected to the modem router’s network.
2. Type http://routerlogin.net or http://192.168.0.1.
3. Enter the username and password for your modem router.
- Username is Admin. The default password is The password. Username and password are case sensitive.
4. Select Advanced>Advanced Setup>NAT Mode.
5. Delete a file Turn on NAT check box.
6. Click Progressing button.
7. Follow the instructions that came with your router to connect it to your modem router.
Noticeable: When the modem router is in bridge mode, use http://192.168.100.1 to log into the modem router.
