The first step

First of all, depending on the operating system your phone is running on, go to the different app stores to download any VPN app of your choice. Google Play Store for Android devices, Apple App Store for iOS devices.

Some of the most popular and free VPN apps that you can find include;

  • Betternet VPN (highly recommended).
  • NordVPN.
  • Windscribe VPN.
  • protection shield.
  • Turbo VPN.
  • Thunder VPN.
  • X-VPN.
  • ExpressVPN, etc.

You can choose from any of the above VPN apps to get started. I personally benefit fromBetternet VPNBecause it is easy to set up and use.

The second step

When you have finished downloading and installing the VPN app of your choice, simply open it for the first time.

Depending on the person you downloaded it, some may require you to create an account with them first by providing a username, email address, and password before you can start using their services.

Offline and connected statuses of Betternet VPN app.

Once it shows you are connected, you should see a VPN switch or icon at the top of your phone screen, to confirm that.

Have you noticed the key icon at the top of your phone screen?

Now you can minimize the app, go ahead and open the Twitter app on your phone, and it should work just fine, just as it did before the current ban of it from the Nigerian government.

And that concludes it today, on how VPN apps can be used to access the Twitter social platform, even with the current ban on it.
