OpenVPN Connect Client
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I connect to OpenVPN?
To connect to a VPN server or service, you need to get a file containing the specifications required for the connection. This configuration file is called a profiler and has the .ovpn file extension.
If your business uses Access Server or OpenVPN Cloud and your IT department has given you a URL, you can import the profile directly by entering the URL.
However, if you received the profile as a file from your IT department or from another OpenVPN-compatible service, you can import the profile by selecting the file.
How do I connect if the OpenVPN client is built into my router?
