VPN stuck on “connection” in Windows 10:
-🖥️-
A quick Google search reveals that Windows 10 users often encounter a number of issues with VPNs. Here is another Windows error that you might encounter when trying to connect to a VPN from the system tray menu.
Symptoms are as follows: Select the VPN connection in the system tray and click Connect. The “connection” state persists indefinitely without establishing a successful connection. The connection attempt is silently closed, and after reopening the system tray, the “Connect” option is displayed again.
First go to control Board – Internet Options – links – Choose your VPN connection – Settings – protection – Enable protocols
I also allow CHAP.
after going to Windows Settings > Network and the Internet > VPN List.
Select VPN from the list and Connection.
This workaround is known to help in most cases, without the need for a reboot or any other modifications.
Finally, you can create a shortcut to your VPN connection and connect to it with just one click
Right-click on the desktop and select new – acronym.
In the Shortcut target box, type or copy and paste the following command:
rasphone -d “VPN connection name”
Set the desired icon and name for your shortcut.
Once you do that, simply click on this shortcut to connect to the VPN directly. You can install it anywhere you want.
