Method 1. Set up Windows 11 VPN from Settings
1. Right-click on the network icon at the bottom right of the screen on the taskbar and select Network and Internet settings. It will take you to the Network & Internet tab in Windows Settings.

4. In the new pop-up window, just specify the following parameters.
- VPN Provider: The default selection is Windows (built-in).

- Server name or address: This is provided by the VPN company and they may have multiple locations. Just enter one site.
- VPN type: If you know your exact VPN type, you should select it to get a higher speed. If not, leave it as the default default option.
- Login information type: If it’s a free connection without any username or password, you can leave the rest of the boxes blank. If it contains a username and password, just enter them into the boxes below. You can also use a smart card.
5. After you have successfully added the VPN, you can find that it is listed under VPN Connections. You can click Connection button to connect your computer to this VPN. Or you can find and connect to this VPN by clicking on the network icon on the taskbar.

Method 2. How to setup VPN on Windows 11 from Network and Sharing Center
1. Click Begins menu in the center of the taskbar and select Settings.
2. In Windows 11 settings, choose Network and the Internet in the left panel.
3. Go to the right pane, and scroll down to find File phone call Selection.
4. On the next screen, choose Network and Sharing Center.
5. In Network and Sharing Center, click Create a new network or connection.

13. Switch to Networks tab, select Internet Protocol version 4 (TCP/IPv4), and click Properties button.
14. In the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window, select Use the following DNS server addresses And type Preferred DNS server address.
15. If you don’t want all your network connections through VPN, just click advanced button under DNS server settings and uncheck Use the default gateway on the remote network.
16. Click multiple OK Buttons to save your changes.
