How to use ProtonVPN on Android TV and Chromecast with Google TV

With ProtonVPN, you can stream and watch video content on any Android TV by installing the app directly on your TV.
The app allows you to watch content from over 50 countries if you have a paid plan. Users with free accounts can choose from three countries.

Android TV is built into some TVs and is also installed on select streaming devices and boxes that can be connected to any TV with a spare HDMI port.
ProtonVPN for Android TV Chromecast works with the Google TV stick and on any TVs that use the Google TV (Android-based) interface. Chromecast-only device users (Chromecast 1st Gen, 2nd Gen, Ultra, and 3rd Gen) will instead need a VPN router to use their device with our VPN service. How to set up ProtonVPN on Android TV
To install ProtonVPN on your Android TV, follow these steps:
1. Download the app from the TV App Store. Alternatively, you can install the app using your desktop browser from the Google Play Store. Choose your Android TV as the device to install to start the installation automatically on your TV.

2. Follow the instructions on the TV screen:
When you open the app for the first time, an icon will be displayed.
Go to https://protonvpn.com/tv, enter your ProtonVPN username and password at the login screen, and then enter the code displayed on the TV when prompted. If you don’t have a Proton account yet, you can sign up for a free plan for Android.
Once you verify the code, you can start using Android TV ProtonVPN to watch your favorite content.
Use your remote control to move between countries and connect to a server by selection Connection.
ProtonVPN also allows you to select your preferred country, which will always appear in accident at the top of the list.
Once you select the country you want to connect to, you can also choose a specific server from the available servers.
You can now enjoy watching your favorite content through your Android TV.
