Learn how to add VPN configuration on iOS devices

To make manual configurations, you will need some setup information like server name, IP address username, password, etc., before you start. Without this information, it will not be possible to complete the VPN configuration, and you may need to seek help from the system administrator from your company or technical support from your VPN service.
Adding VPN Configuration for iPhone: The Automatic Method
The most straightforward way to add a VPN configuration is to give the app permission to do so. When you hit the CONNECT button on the VPN Proxy app or any other VPN app, you will be asked to give permission to install the VPN configuration on your iPhone.
tap on Allow To give permission to the VPN app to install the configuration on your phone automatically.
If you are asked to enter your device password or provide permission through TouchID, please grant permission to the app to modify your VPN settings.
After the VPN configurations are installed, the VPN app will be able to connect. Press the CONNECT button and you will be able to connect without modifying or adding your VPN configurations again. From now on, you only have to make changes to your VPN settings through the app.
If you have more than one VPN app installed, you can also connect to a VPN without opening the app:
- go to Settings The app on your device
- Faucet General -> VPN

Manually set up VPN configuration on iPhone or iPad

Get your VPN configuration information ready, and prepare to enter it into your iPhone’s VPN Settings screen.

- tap on Add VPN Configuration.
